It gives our team a sense of pride to see the mushroom being harvested for the first time. The pride comes from a pure sense of achievement after months of research, testing, waiting, making mistakes, learning, and starting all over again.
What started with an interview for Mohammed Al-Rawi for a place in Business Shortcut (QAF Lab’s incubation program), has resulted in an investment that led to the establishment of Al-Reef Mushroom farm, which is the first mushroom farm of its kind in Mosul and Nineveh.
Al-Reef Mushroom farm is one of the first live examples of QAF Lab’s work of innovation and excellence, especially that which relates to making a real impact on the private sector, which has never been done before by local Iraqi business incubators.
