December 3rd, 2022, marked the first public event for the Journal of Modern Computing and Engineering Research (JMCER) sponsored by QAF Lab.
Many academic researchers attended the event and were eager to learn more about the journal. Dr. Basim Mahmood – one of the executive directors, along with QAF Lab’s Management Team, introduced QAF Lab, JMCER, and some of the resources that QAF Lab can contribute with to the academic research.
They also announced that QAF Lab is sponsoring two grants for JMCER. The first one is about Data Pattern Recognition and Dis/Misinformation and the other is about The Integration of Solar Systems and Irrigation Systems in Wells Engineering.
Such grants sponsored by a local company are very important to bridge the gap between academic research and the private sector, and it has not been in Iraq before.
