As part of the GIZ M4P project, co-implemented by QAF Lab and Al-Ghad Radio, QAF Lab facilitated a two-day filmmaking workshop, which brought together participants, the production team, the trainers and representatives from GIZ. The workshop catalysed an important and timely discussion focused on creating a convergence in thinking towards a shared vision for measuring the impact of M4P project.
Testimonials by participants reflected feelings of togetherness and a common purpose. Most participants reported that they felt more prepared to start filming short documentaries themselves at the conclusion of the workshop, but desired more days for research, script writing and scenes’ sequencing.
At the end of the workshop, successful participants received the certificates by the main trainer Leslie Knott, a well-known Canadian filmmaker.
