On May 11th, 2023, an exhibition was held inside the Mosul Cultural Museum’s Royal Hall to highlight the importance of rehabilitating the museum. The exhibition emphasized the importance of re-building Mosul’s cultural and historical identity. It also mentioned Mosul’s heritage, cultural artifacts, and archaeological sites that had been damaged. Due to our active role in preserving and documenting heritage, QAF Lab, in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre, ALIPH – International alliance for the protection of heritage in conflict areas, and others, directly organized and arranged this exhibition. This was done to draw more attention to Iraqi heritage, specifically Mosul’s heritage.
